You didn't tell the best part! You can get Link's Master Sword and Shield in this version! Looks like I'll buy my 6th copy of Skyrim after all. Bouncy

You might need amino for that.

RE: Nintendo Switch
Brook develops controller adapter for the Switch that allows both wired and wireless XBOX360/One & PS3/PS4. Though I don't know if the XBOX One controller can connect wirelessly. The best bit? Its half the price of the damn Nintendo Pro controller that should of been bundled with the damn system to begin with or at least been cheaper. Yes, I'm disgruntled.

RE: Nintendo Switch
hey man, hd rumble and fantastic gyro is expensive.

Interestingly enough, it seems for the hd rumble, they start it by doing something with the sound effect that plays when the rumble occurs in some games. If you turn the sound down enough, you can actually HEAR the sound effect playing through the motors of the rumblers. It's super weird, but also cool.

Also the gyro is some of the best ever. Aiming in splatoon 2 and zelda with gryo controls is top notch. And playing mario cart with anything other than tilt controls is sacrilege.

I didn't think the Switch could handle Doom.

RE: Nintendo Switch
I'm pretty impressed that they were able to get this on the Switch. Any idea what the framerate is?

I like the idea of Doom on switch, I'm just worried about the performance. But I'm sure they have that in mind.

Even if the graphics aren't as good if the framerate is then it is a win for the Switch. Besides those who like handheld gaming can get a fantastic game on the go with the new Doom. Bouncy

RE: Nintendo Switch
Nintendo updated the switch to 4.0 last night and added some nice new features.

• Video capture for select games (BotW, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, ARMS, Splatoon 2; up to 30 seconds)
• New profile icons
• Transfer user profiles/save data to other systems
• Preorders for select games on eShop

RE: Nintendo Switch
You know, the Nintendo Switch is a very well designed system. It's so tiny. Even with the TV dock, it is smaller than most books! I was able to put the Switch in a leftover corner of the table right behind other huge consoles, the PS3 and PS4. It's basically a tablet with a docking station to play on the TV. They made it easy. You just pop it in and out--goes from portable mode to TV mode automatically without pressing any buttons. Then, the bootup sequence is extremely fast, almost instantaneous. It might be as fast as the Playstation 2 and original Xbox!

I also liked how simple the dashboard happens to be. I mean, all you got is some icons on the bottom, and in the middle of the screen, you got all the games and apps that you installed. That's it! Especially the Xbox One, modern dashboards are kinda too complex. Although the PS4 dashboard is pretty easy to navigate as well.

My only gripe is that the Joycon controllers don't charge when you're playing on the TV. When you slide those Joycons (mine are blue and red) onto the handle grip, they don't charge (there's no charging connection wire/connection on the grip). The only way to charge them is to slide them back onto the tablet itself. You can dock the tablet or plug it into the wall outlet to charge the Joycons. I also hear you can charge them while playing on the tablet in portable mode. But it is very inconvenient if you want to charge the Joycons while playing on the TV. You can buy a controller grip capable of charging for $30.00 on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Nintendo-Joy-Char...rging+grip Nintendo should of included that one with the console, such a bummer.

RE: Nintendo Switch
the battery life on those joycons are so insane, I've never run into an issue with them dying even in extended play sessions.

Did you hear Squeenix won't do micro transactions in their games? The CEO in Japan came out and said as much.
